Capsulotomy

Product code: VCAPS

Experience crystal clear, high magnification views of the posterior lens capsule for clearing opacified lenticular tissue for post-cataract/secondary cataract YAG laser treatment. The superior optical design provides a tight focus of the laser spot for precise and safe laser application reducing the chance of pitting/damaging the IOL. The short lens body allows enhanced clearance between the laser and the patient’s eye for maneuverability.

• Clear, magnified views of the posterior lens capsule
• Treatment of secondary cataracts/ post-cataract surgery management
• Short lens body allows enhanced maneuverability
• Laser Capsulotomy Procedures

Iridectomy

Product code: VIRID

Volk’s range of iridotomy lenses provide high-detail views of the iris to recognize the best location for treatment such as iris crypts while the optics ensure that laser energy is efficiently transferred for effective treatment of closed angle glaucoma. This lens provides a high magnification view of the iris through the top-hat style ‘button’ within the lens. The rest of the lens surface provides a clear plano view of the surrounding iris to help identify and orient with the desired treatment location. The laser beam should be aimed at the center of the circular button for effective laser transmission.

• Top-hat style magnification button
• Small lens body allows easy manipulation of the lens
• Ensures precise placement of the laser beam
• Laser window barrier protects internal optical components

04.Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)›

Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)

Product code: VSLT

This lens is a classic one mirror design lens that provides a large, clear view of the angle structures for performing SLT procedures to lower intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension and glaucoma. This lens is designed for compatibility when used with a frequency doubled Q switched Nd:YAG laser. The lens has to be rotated gently on the patient’s eye to aim the laser at the various sections of iridocorneal angle. The 1.0x magnification of this lens helps maintain the laser spot size and density during laser delivery.

• Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)
• Ideal for Glaucoma Treatment
• Laser Trabecular Meshwork treatment
